The whole school took part in week long celebration of science! We learnt out about the five types of scientific enquiry skills: research; classifying and identification; pattern seeking; observing closely and fair testing. During the week, adults planned activities where children were able to use these skills in different areas of the curriculum, not just science. A class ran a fair test in PE while another class used their research skills to find out more about Sikhism in RE. At the end of the week, we had a whole school Science Fair where all classes presented their learning from the week. There was an opportunity for children to visit each other’s class and families also came at the end of day to see all the fantastic work.
