Therapy Services

Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy are planned and delivered by qualified NHS therapists, in line with the child’s EHC Plan.

NHS therapists work closely with our class teams, so that strategies become embedded.

Rather than a child leaving the classroom to work 1:1 with a therapist, often a therapist will work within the class, supporting a group of children and developing expertise within the class team.

In addition, we employ a Play Therapist one day per week, to provide an alternative therapeutic intervention for individual children or small groups.

The Play Therapist works alongside our staff, to share strategies in order to provide the best possible support for the children.

We also draw on further therapeutic support for pupils as necessary, from Harrow Horizons and from the Eden Academy Trust Therapy Team.
