Tula Geese went to Hampstead Heath to study geographical features of London. They had a great time playing in the park and did lots and lots of walking!                  

Oland Geese have started Forest School. They do various tasks such as finding different insects, climbing trees, digging areas, and creating butterfly pictures with the natural colour smashed out of berries. And lots more exciting things.                   

Alexandra School hosted a Girls Panathlon Football event.  We had volunteers from Panathlon who came in to deliver this session. This was great timing, with the Women’s football world cup taking place this summer!! The girls did really well and they all received medals at the end. The Panathlon volunteers both commented on being impressed

Alexandra Camp Festival Week was a lot of fun for everyone.  We danced, sang and cheered. AND walked, jumped and climbed. Staff and pupils shot arrows, toasted marshmallows and camped out on the school field. Each child pushed themselves to try something they hadn’t tried before. They were brilliant!            

Alexandra School Council meet up every fortnight to talk about school life. They discuss ideas on how to make pupils’ life even more enjoyable at Alexandra School.  They have recently launched an initiative called ‘Playtime Buddies’. All nine school council members will wear ‘Playtime Buddy’ badges.  During play time and lunch time they will seek out

We’ve had a great Sports Week at Alexandra. All the children had taken part in heats and also in our fun sports morning, getting active and trying their best. The pupils vs. staff football match was hotly contested on Thursday but deservedly won by the children. 4 goals to 3! We all gathered together to

Alexandra Football team competed in the Cedars Football tournament. They played very well, scored 3 goals and they all received medals. Well Done!  

During the week leading up to the Coronation bank holiday weekend, every class at Alexandra School has had the opportunity to act out a Coronation Ceremony, with a crown, a cloak, a sword, a ring and a sceptre. Older classes have also talked about what makes a great leader and what changes they might make

Alexandra pupils took part in the London mini marathon on Saturday 22nd April. The route went around St James Park, starting by Horse Guards Parade and finished on The Mall. All of the pupils successfully completed the 1 mile distance and were rewarded with a huge sense of accomplishment and a medal!      

On 23rd April our Deputy Head Simone took part in the London Marathon! She gained a place through a competition for UK teachers to join team TCS teachers and represent those who work in schools across the country. This was Simone’s first Marathon, and she was pleased to complete 26.2 miles in 5 hours 58
