At the end of last year Oland Geese visited the Horniman Museum and Gardens for an enriching sensory workshop about Ancient Egypt. The children explored the fascinating process of mummification, learned about the animals that inhabit the River Nile, and had the chance to dress up. Using all their senses, they asked many questions and shared their knowledge about this topic. This hands-on experience brought meaning to the learning about Ancient Egypt they have done during the Autumn term.
